In the desert city of Be’ersheva, Assi (Ran Danker), an emotionally scarred writer, is sentenced to community service teaching juvenile delinquents. Using his skills in scriptwriting and poetry, he helps them take control of their narratives by filming the world around them. The teens’ extreme personalities, riotous energy, and vivacious charm arouse a fresh wind of creativity and hope in Assi’s personal and creative life. Through a close relationship with one troubled teen in particular, both Assi and the group break through the boundaries of the rehabilitative framework in this moving drama inspired by true events in the director’s life. Winner of Best First Feature and Best Cinematography at the Jerusalem Film Festival.
